It's really only the alternator that can be laid at the feet of Honda. Two cat converters were stolen, one in Detroit (at lunchtime in the parking lot of a Big Boy) and the other in Brooklyn. And a third turned out to be completely devoid of inner workings - just a shell. The clutches were a result of teaching my spouse to drive stick shift, aka "testing our relationship" according to my cousin.
Whoa: converters really do get stolen. Glad that has never happened to me. I also lost a clutch (aka millennial security device) in mutch the same way.
